[17 October 2018; Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock (MOFL), Dhaka] Professor Harunur Rashid has provided his expert opinion during a meeting by Bangladesh Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock on marine fishery and environment survey in the Upper Bay of Bengal. This meeting, chaired by MOFL Secretary Mr Md Raisul Alam Mondal and headed by Rear Admiral (Retd.) Md Khurshed Alam (Secretary, Head of Maritime Affairs Unit, Bangladesh Ministry of Foreign Affairs), has discussed important aspects of recent Dr Fridtjof Nansen Survey (and FAO collaboration) on fishery resources and environment in the Upper Bay of Bengal off Bangladesh.
